Bone Thugs-N-Harmony came from the heart of Cleveland, Ohio—far from the coastal epicenters of hip-hop in New York or L.A. The group originally formed in the early ’90s under the name B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e, with members Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Bizzy Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. They weren’t just a rap group—they were a brotherhood, bound by struggle, hunger, and shared dreams.
Their early sound stood out. They mixed rapid-fire rhymes with haunting harmonies and melodies. While others in hip-hop leaned into aggression or bravado, Bone Thugs brought something spiritual, almost ethereal, to their music.
